The tomato plants are falling over under the weight of their own fruit.
Pickled some red cabbage from our garden in red wine vinegar, bay leaf, and mustard seed… and lots of sugar.
Spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, carrots, and cabbage.
So this lovely flower popped up in my garden a few weeks ago. I thought it was a weed. Good thing I didn’t pull it.
Gave my basil plant a trim.
Things I googled today: “how to build a root cellar” … this was only a quarter of the harvest and there are still more in the ground.
